I love this set, they make contouring, applying eyeshadow, blush, powder, all very easy. And because the brushes have shorter bristles, they make applying makeup a clean and wasteless affair. I love these! Tremendous value! Pretty to look at and touch. Could tell the handles would pop easily after a few uses, so I pulled the handles off and reglued them with E6000 immediately. Haven't had any shedding issues after 10 washes. Best for liquids and creams.
This book provides some simple rules that are easy to follow. It is not a "diet" as much as a way of eating for a healthy lifestyle. You don't go hungry, and you do loose weight. This is not a low carb diet, but it is a reduced carb diet. The authors provide a good explanation as to what causes your body to store fat. The simple rules require that when you eat high carb foods you also eat protein in a 2:1 ratio while never exceeding 30g carbs at a given time. You are allowed a reasonable amount of fat as well. The foods you eat are very similar to the South Beach Diet, but I like this better because of the simple rules about the protein and carb combining, and I don't like to follow menus in a book.
I carry these in my make-up case since learning about them about a year ago. They have eliminated the pain every time! You still need to get the antibiotics, but at least your wait is pain-free. I find that they kick in about 30 mins. after taking them.
Contains the best long-essay writing (on wonderfully broad topics) of any magazine for the generally smart grownup person who is interested in everything. Also the best editing, the best cartoons, best book and movie reviews. For my taste, the fiction and poetry are the sadly disappointing weaknesses, though written by well-established authors. I skip over them with barely a look, though something good occasionally appears. (The magazine used to be stronger in these genres, just as it used to be more assiduously edited---but that's another topic). If you like it, you'll look forward to it every week and read just about the entirety of each issue.
I purchased the Finishing Touch lumina lighted hair remover with pivoting head to replace an older one that didn't have those features. Tried it and like it. I don't have to use tweezers for hair growth under my eyebrows or on a facial mole. The light is a good plus.
