The disk arrived in good condition, but since I ordered this disk, it has not worked on my laptop. I have been on the phone with Microsoft tech support about ten times and each phone call was about two hours. Still it does not work.

2/6/2014 I bought it from Intuit. It worked fine, until May 2014. Then the horror show began. Backups failed. The software crashed. Data was lost. I phoned Intuit, and was told it is a "known problem". I was told no estimated date existed to fix it. I was sent an email that "explained" the problem, which apparently exists also in Quickbooks for Mac 2013. A copy of the email is set forth below. 6/2/2014 I spent hours on the phone with Intuit tech support. It verified I do not have corrupted data, which means it is a software bug. Tech support has been horrible. I repeatedly have lost data since last May. Tech support actually has made matters worse, resulting in lost data. Different tech support reps contradict one another, and make promises that they then violate. The experience is horrible. The software is horrible. The tech support is horrible. My business is suffering. My search for alternative software has begun. I'm tired of Intuit. Maybe it's good for a PC, but MAC USERS SHOULD STAY AWAY FROM INTUIT LIKE THE PLAGUE.

I'm something of a political junkie and was eagerly awaiting this book. As a subscriber to the Washington Post. I read Dan Balz's columns during the election and feel that he didn't do much more than regurgitate them here. It's a long boring slog. The author doesn't even get to the general election until about page 300. There are 27 chapters in the book and many read like stand alone essays. Having a couple of chapters on whether Obama is a boring person is well...boring. And reading a fifteen page chapter on an asterisk like Tim Pawlenty is mind numbing. In general the author dawdles on the front end,and compresses the general election in the back end, no doubt thinking of his publication deadline. The author spends only a few sentences each on the subjects of Michele Bachmann, Obamacare, and Benghazi, but takes 15 pages to describe the process of selecting Paul Ryan as VP. About the only new thing I learned about in the book was the arguments going on back stage with Chris Christie before he went on stage to give his keynote address at the GOP convention.

I'm shocked at all the bad reviews. I bought the Magic Jack Plus (not here) 6 months ago and have had NO problems whatsoever. I have it connected to my Apple computer and to my router. Set up was a breeze, and I opted for a new number since I didn't want to pay extra to keep my old number (not that serious). I was looking for a simple back up since we always use our cell phones. I was tired of paying Vonage $30 a month for a service that was rarely used. It is mainly used to get ahold of our teens if they don't answer their cell phones. Anyway, it sounds and works similar to Vonage. I do not have any dropped calls, no echo, and no blocked numbers. I have a standard high speed internet with Time Warner Cable, nothing special but it is good quality internet. You need good internet service and enough bandwidth.
