I say appear because I've not done the research to look at her hair before and after under a microscope or done any spectrometer exams. She swears by it and that is my final test.

I bought this the summer of 2007 when i was interning and had spare cash. Figured it'd be worth the investment BEEEEEEEEEEEP. yeah total waste of money. I used it regularly (3 times a week) for over 5 months straight and noticed not even the slightest bit of difference. I continued using it once a week after that but am yet to see any results. I still have it lying somewhere. The only reason i gave it 2 stars instead of 1 is because it didn't burn my scalp or cause my hair to fall out or smth :)

When I first received this product I thought it was great. Over time, it got clogged. I called customer service and they were less than happy to help. We went through troubleshooting, and determined that it needed to go in for a tune up. The nearest approved repair service was not close to where I lived. So, now it has very little suction and the steam does not help with hard wood floors. Rather than take it in somewhere closer and pay for the cost, I am looking for a different brand.

One of the most solid offerings in years. I have been reading the BASS series since 2010 and usually enjoy about half of the pieces. The editor said these stories would surprise readers and they almost all surely do! A good mix of styles and topics as well.
