  • Amorette Halley - First time I have ever reviewed a book...

I have six children, and don't have time to sit down and write book reviews, but after recommending this book again to a friend, I believe it has proven itself worthy of a review from this busy Mama. I had wonderful pregnancies, but they could do a number on my stomach as little feet pressed up against my stomach, and that all too familiar acid reflux demanded that I pop Pepcid, Gaviscon, etc. I even had my esophagus stretched in between pregnancies after months of horrible "new" issues. My throat would be so tense for weeks it would feel like I was about to cry constantly, while my stomach was in a constant state of misery after every meal and between meals. If I was hungry, the issues became even worse. The last thing I wanted to do was be on a prescription for the rest of my life. I picked up this book years ago, when there were just a handful of reviews. It was a fascinating read, but I was scared to death to take the acid. In desperation I began taking licorice root to help my throat heal, and shortly thereafter, started the acid. What a life changer!!! I took the acid for almost a year, and now I no longer need to take the acid, except for occasional flare ups. Even my husband asks "Where is the acid?" when he feels things are stuck. All I can say, is please try it. If it makes you miserable...you have wasted $15.00 and a few minutes of your time. If it makes you instantly feel better, you have saved yourself thousands of dollars in meds, and your stomach/throat/and peace of mind will thank you.

  • Ray M. Boucher - Great Adjustable Hole Saw!!!

I've used many different hole saws in the past, including some adjustable ones similar to this one (some of them did not adjust well and the treads usually came loose so did not keep the size of the hole consistent). I found this one to work extremely well, easy to adjust, held the adjustment solidly, and cut quickly. Used for cutting holes in sheet rock and plywood with ease (including 3/4" birch plywood which is pretty tough). Dust is also kept to a minimum with the shield, a big plus! All of it comes in a nice carry case.
