  • Tim Williams - This Book Desperately Needs a Reboot.

    Even though I was featured in the 2007 version of this book I have to admit that recent editions have been disappointing. There aren't many new sources to send your promotional materials and queries to. The ones who remain in the book are just regurgitated entries from previous years. Perhaps it's time for Artist's & Graphic Designer's Market to call it a day and cease publication. Either that or commit to a complete reboot with all new entries. As a freelancer with over 30 years worth of experience I have to say this book has fallen upon some hard times.

    It is an excellent source of magnesium but the flavors are very limited. The only flavors available are the original (palatable) and various forms of lemon. For me and many other people, citrus of any kind, including flavoring, causes severe urinary incontinence. If they would just do a fruit or berry flavor without the citrus it would open up possibilities for many customers. Those of you who have noticed a urinary incontinence problem, it is not the magnesium but the flavoring in all likelihood.

    I've tried to love this product, but I really don't believe it's worth the money. The product essentially dries up on contact with air and friction, so it's a very gentle exfoliation. Which is great for those of us with sensitive skin, but I simply don't think it's worth over $100. There are other products out there that work just as well for a fraction of the price.

  • Larry V - Better than most

    I have used this software since 2008 in all of the versions since that time. Overall it is pretty good software. The licensing method is a bit clunky and will cause problems from time to time. I have had spotty results with their tech support. They used to eventually get back to you with replies but that appears to be a thing of the past. I don't get the impression that anyone is doing tech support anymore. Comparing it to Mastercook, LC is miles ahead in my opinion. I don't think that the 2015 version is much improved over 2013, and I think 2013 may be more stable.

    Great product, works on our Connect40 by Graco. No complaints, easy to install. I would recommend for anyone looking for a similar product.
