  • Patricia - Good thing this was free!

There were some ice cream recipes and one for making "butter beer". I would never pay for this or recommend it. As other reviewers have said, it's a tease for a bigger cookbook.

  • Michael J. Oelrich - Information that we all need to wrap our head around

I found this book very helpful in developing a framework of understanding of our Social Security system. It may not have been as critical as it could have been to really achieve a balanced assessment of the system, but it contained interesting comparisons between Social Security and other types of life insurance. It would have been even more interesting if the comparison was expanded to look at other types of retirement systems that are not insurance based.

  • Makakilo Man - Save your money

Not very easy to use. I bought it to help me learn piano. Looks like now I have to learn how to use this software too. Not intuitive at all. Not impressed. Wish I had saved the $99!

  • Ted Dorsey - Tutor Ted reviews the new official ACT book

**Addendum** Now I'm annoyed. Check out question #59 on the first Math Test. Answers C and E are both correct. The solution in the back justifies E and says that C can't be right because the two triangles aren't right triangles. They don't have to be right triangles. Since HI is a line segment, and the distance from HI to G is the altitude of both triangles from bases HJ and HI (small triangle and big triangle, respectively), then the ratio of their areas will be the same as the ratio of their bases. Here, that is exactly d/(d+e). One star subtracted. I've seen and tolerated carelessness from the Princeton Reviews and Kaplans of the world, but you don't expect it from the test makers themselves. Minus one star for you.
