Sally L Miller - Great kids' learning game
I bought 2 of these - one for each of my children (one pink, one green). My kids were 4 & 6. They love them. We use them when travelling & also when the kids will have to sit patiently for extended periods of time. They also choose to use them on quiet days at home. I buy the games as cartridges so they can share & swap but they also have a few things saved onto the leappads. They also use the cameras a lot & love making "art" out of some of the photos they take. I highly recommend these - new games & ebooks, etc are coming out all the time that follow themes from their favourite movies which mean there are always new extensions to buy. Can't recommend them highly enough.
Carol - My experience with the book
Admittedly, I had my doubts with this purchase. It was a lot cheaper than Kaplan and Kaplan always seems so popular but in the end, I decided to go with it.
GT68 - Sheesh
******Before you read my review, I want you to know that this seller is great and has terrific customer service. I will not hesitate for a second ordering from this company in the future as they clearly care about their customers. My review stands but I wanted to add this comment first. Great seller*****
GBsterling - This year's version is very buggy
I just installed the program a few days ago, but have been having problems ever since. The program generally doesn't launch successfully - it pops up a window saying I need to wait for important notifications, and it never gets past that. Then, it wants me to update the Federal tax program. But the update froze the first time I tried it, and it won't get past that point now. So I'm using the older version of the program that I got on the CD they shipped me. And when I finally do get into the program and start entering data, I find that it imports my federal long and short term loss carryovers, but not the state ones. Some of these problems seem to keep occurring year after year, like the hangups during the update procedure. But overall I would say the program is much buggier this year.
T. Norris - Does what it's supposed to, but could be so much better
I won't re-hash all of the previous comments but merely add my experiences that I haven't seen posted yet.
