This Omega XL is extracted from blue lip mussles in New Zealand. This is not fish oil. Mussles have toxins in them which are accumulated within the mussle from the algae they consume and it is very hard to tell a if a mussle is toxic or not. I personaly used this product and became very ill using it, i believe it was due to toxins that were within this product. Other things may be placed within these capsules along with the mussle extract and they may cause a certain dependancy to people who regularly use it. I find it odd that people who use this product on a regular basis and then stop using it, complain that whatever ailment they may have had continues to persist. I have never taken any health suppliment that has this kind of affect or is as overpriced as omega XL.

I had tried MANY products for my male cats 'marking' problem, and had sporadic luck with them. But this product does really seem to take away the smell - which is what I ultimately wanted! There are times when I have to go back and put some more over the spot, but the smell does usually go away after that. I am very impressed with this product!!
