My husband has given me the BASS and Best American Mystery Stories every year for Christmas, for at least the last 20 years. Usually, I love them. This year, I have been trudging through the book, and I am about two/thirds of the way through. I have to say this is my least favorite of the Best American series, due largely to the disturbing, often perverse characters that populate these stories. Some of them are nightmare material. Other times the stories are wandering, boring, navel-gazing, and nothing I would want to remember after they are done. Usually, this series includes stories that are little jewels, that I go back and re-read over the ensuing years. I have yet to find a story in this collection that would fit that definition. Maybe I will find one in the last one third of this book. In short, a great disappointment.
He is very good but the two best of his songs are Candle In The Wind and Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. If you haven't heard this song, you've really missed out. Rectify that now.
Amazing. I bought this to accompany an Apple TV, so I didn't need a "smart TV" just one with great image quality. I went to a big box electronics retailer and compared brands and this exact TV was the one that looked the best in person. I found it on Amazon much cheaper and ordered it immediately. It is perfect. The image is clear and crisp, and the feet seem sturdy enough to feel comfortable leaving the TV on a desk without any extra support until I wall mount it. The image and sound quality are everything I could have wanted, and it arrived in less than 24 hours (although 8 hours after arrival, Amazon still says it's "preparing for shipping" so...). Perfect for my bedroom.
c'mon people... if your concerned about lines on your face.. Go to a plastic surgeon and have injections of Juvaderm..this ain't going to do anything but make Brinkley richer. remember this "when your reproductive years are over, nature is thru with you" Then it's maintain and do the best you can with what you have
I have purchased many cases for my phones and this is my first time buying a hybrid case. I love the design because it looks super sleek. When i have it on my phone it looks real good. It is almost a two-tone design with your phone color being the other color since the bumper part is clear. Great case! advertising for this product is laughable it is a total crock they put you on auto delivery they prey on religious seniorsyou can't tell if you're taking it or if you're not taking it it doesn't work and rips people off just try to get off the delivery system.
