  • Sarah H. - Precious Story and Beautiful Illustrations!

This is a precious children's book, with the cutest illustrations and simple text! My boys were intrigued at first, almost as if they weren't sure where the story was going. Then after a few pages they got the hang of the same and different theme that is in the book. They would chime in with who was big or who was small on the page. They were so excited to turn each page. It's just so simple and so precious. I genuinely enjoyed reading it to my little ones, using silly voices for each character, a tiny, squeaky voice for the small character and a loud booming voice for the bigger character! Lots of giggles and laughs from my boys because of that! I hope to see more books from this author AND illustrator. It's a keeper, that's for sure!

  • DON'T be confused! - DON'T be confused!

The paperback edition of "Aesop's Fables" should NOT be confused with the Hardcover edition of the same name, that other reviews on this page refer to. While I think the illustrations are quite lovely and the fables familiar, I (probably through no one's fault but my own), did not get what I expected. There are only 13 fables, some of which are little more than a few lines long, and there is no additional commentary or context. The price is reasonable for what it is, but this is not a soft cover edition of the hard cover of the same name!

Good for people trying to get to the 70th percentile I guess. If you're trying to polish up those last few question you miss on each test this is not for you. Of the roughly 4/20 I was missing each time half of them were impossible or ambiguous questions. That is just a preparation in frustration. The actual GRE was slightly harder but much better written.

  • Douglas M. - Fortunately, there are other GPS options available (Sygic being ...

The GPS (IGO) license on these units appear to "cracked" versions and cannot be updated. The IGO application provides instructions for obtaining updates from NaviExtras.com. I contacted them and they won't support it or sell a licensed version unless the unit is one they support. Fortunately, there are other GPS options available (Sygic being one). With that said, the unit is well worth the cost. Music sounds great, touch interface is very responsive. Just like having a smartphone building into the dash. I installed this in a 2004 Avalon XLS. The AC vents need to removed to get to the bolts that hold the stereo in. The vents were extremely hard to remove and the louvers will come out of place if your aren't careful (there is a YouTube video on removing the original unit). If you have a factory amp, be sure to connect the low level outputs up (RCA jacks), otherwise you will be putting an amplified signal into the amp and the volume goes from zero to loud and louder as the volume is adjusted. If you need woodgrain trim search for Carav 11-431 instead of the black Metra kit.

  • 1hward - Learned this machine and now it's a dream cleaner!

I have been using a steaming floor mop for years... And then I saw this 3-in-1 Hoover floor cleaner... The spinning brushes and 3-in-1 convenience sucked me in, and I had to get one! After using it a total of 3 times now, I can see what a difference it makes in cleaning my floors. These are the little things I've learned about this cleaner: 1) I can fill it up with mostly water and add a tiny bit of floor cleaner concentrate, and it works perfectly. 2) I am in full control of how much water goes on the floor. The dirty tank fills up about the same time the clean tank empties, so I empty/refill the same time. The rate at which I spray gets me through approx a 10' x 10' area, before I'm having to refill and empty. At first I thought it was annoying to have to stop and refill the water that soon, but I accepted it for what it is. 3) The vacuum feature is limited because of the vacuum design, but there's ways to get it to work at it's best - I tilt back when sucking up more than small crumbs because otherwise it just pushes the larger dirt around. Also, the vacuum suction is in the middle, so I aim for that area to get up the bigger pieces. 4) The wet feature turns on the brushes, while it's also vacuuming excess water. Therefore, I don't have to switch to Dry mode to get the water up. I can stay in Wet mode without spraying water to suck up water on the floor. It makes it seem easier to not have to switch back and forth between Wet and Dry all the time! 5) This cleans my wood floors like a dream, because they are flat and smooth. It does not do the best on my tile floor, although I'm still satisfied with what it does. 6) It takes about 10 times going over a mark on the floor to remove it in most cases. It cleans the floors good, but it's not magic like on TV. 7) The knob on the side is prone to hitting furniture, which usually switches it into vacuum mode. I have to pay attention to this to switch it back to Wet mode. 8) Overall, I am happy with this floor cleaner and glad I have it. Once I accepted that I can't work nonstop like I did with my steamer mop, and I figured out how the thing really works, I adjusted and accepted it for how it is. My floors are literally cleaner than they've ever been, and I can tell it's true by the dirty water color - it has gotten lighter each time I've used it!

  • M. Grimm - Flimsy

These were thinner and flimsier than I expected them to be. The work for what I want, which is holding small soap molds. Soap batter reacts with aluminum so they needed to be Stainless Steel. I don't think I would like these for baking at all because of how flimsy they are. I like strong, hefty cookie sheets for actually cooking with.

  • K. Westrope - Great book about dads

I first read this book to my three year old granddaughter. She loved it, and now asks me to read it whenever I visit. The last time I read it, my 10 year old grandson was also there and he enjoyed it too. He liked how the story turned everyday things the dad did in to superhero powers. I like this book because it shows dads in such a positive light, and there are way more books about moms than there are about dads. This is one I highly recommend.
