Having studied American History all year (using the Pearson textbook) I still found this book incredibly helpful! It offers summaries at the end of each chapter and then a little quiz to follow up. It's also one of the only books that contains practice texts released by the college board. I definitely recommend it👍🏻

2 hours into the upgrade(?) from 2013 I have thrown in the towel and am calling it a day. Installs OK but kicks you in the butt when trying to set up the cloud function. Gives you a password error and will not support the Lost Password request to allow you to move forward. I uninstalled the program and reinstalled 2013 only to find out that my password is now hosed in it too and cannot get support with resetting it. If you're happy with the version you are using, stay with it.

The selections in any particular volume of the “Best American” anthology series almost always bear the imprint of the guest editor, and 2013’s essay volume is no exception. As guest editor Cheryl Strayed explains in her introduction, she was profoundly affected by the premature loss of her mother and focused her early writing solely on that topic. While that same topic appears in this volume, more generally the stories that Strayed has selected reflect the pain and suffering that the essay authors endured, and their reactions to life’s varied tragedies.

My boys 9 & 7 both wanted this book from the Book Fair at school. It was much less here at Amazon! They absolutely LOVE this book, It is thick and jam packed with helpful hints, tips and new games!
