Take a look at the main ingredient, Aloe and the Oleander plant/flower. Then look up Aloe and see what it is supposed to do. Folks, I think this is just "hyped" aloe. Importantly, it says it is a mixture of Aloe and the other active ingredient. It doesn't tell what percentage of the Oleander is in the aloe! This is why they call it a "mixture". It may be that the Oleander comprises only 1% of the combination. You'll never know because they won't tell you. Personally, I think this is all hype with no science, and I am a biochemist (not a dermatologist, so this is out of my area). I work in the pharma industry (though biologicals), and know good research when I see it. This product has poor to non-existant scientific papers, and certainly none in peer reviewed publications (these are publications where good data are presented...the data are reviewed by experts before they can be published).
I use the serum on my face every morning, right out of the shower. I have not gotten my nerve up to try the derma roller, so I just use it as a normal serum. I am trying to keep my skin texture plump and less wrinkled. I am happy with the results. I use it under my regular moisturizer. It is a large size bottle for a serum and lasts a long time.
