    I lost 39 lbs. in the last 7 months by eating less and working out more. I feel good about my progress, but I could not get rid of the "saddle bags."     Yes, it really does work, but the trick is to start using it IMMEDIATELY when you feel that slight "tingle" in your lips. The longer you wait, the longer it will take to heal the fever blister. So keep it on hand so you can act immediately. My estimation is that if used properly, at least for me, it reduces the amount of the outbreak by approximately -75%, and the scab-bleeding stage is bypassed completely, and usually no one can even notice you have a fever blister. The downside is that this is very expensive medicine, and the tube is only for a single outbreak and sometimes even a second tube may be needed. But it is worth the money. Even if it were twice as much, it would be worth the money.
