I buy this every year as a Christmas gift. They always look forward to getting it and are disappointed if I forget to buy it!
I've been looking for a proper pan for a long time and I could safely reccomend this pan. It's made of a great carbon steel that doesn't rust anywhere as easily as compared to a carbon steel wok i recently bought. It's a solid piece of metal, I'm not sure how that affects performance in a home kitchen but all I could say it does have great heat conductivity compared yo stainless steel. However, note that it doesn't have the heat retention as cast iron but I wasn't looking for that. It sears great, elegant and sophisticated in design, devolops a great seasoning enamel, works great on induction, and overall a great price for what it delivers. I know in the future my family will love this pan and I hope it becomes a heirloom.
I have wanted to learn to play guitar for almost ever. Years ago, I took lessons from people who could play well, but were less than stellar teachers. As a less than stellar student, I learned a little, but never did get good at it. My attitude went south and my guitar gathered dust. One day I happened to see the Rocksmith package. The Rocksmith concept looked promising and I wanted to try again. It took a little while to get it installed and set up the user account, but was well worth it. There is a cable that connects your guitar right to the computer. With that connection, the software knows how you are doing and keeps working to help you make progress. The software teaching method is very good. It is patient and never gets "that look" on its face when you ask it to play the segment over and over until you get it right. For someone like me that may take a bit longer to get the finger muscle memory, that is a great blessing. There are also some guitar game challenges to break up the lessons and keep learning fun. This wonderful learning tool sets up a winning environment for any student who is willing to keep trying. If you provide the time and effort to learn and practice, this package gives you everything else you need to succeed.
Plays on Wii U systems sold in Americas only. Doesnt work on european console, returning. No warning in item description.
I love the color changing lights and being able to pick the scent. It's simple to use, about 1/2 cup of water and a few drops of essential oil (peppermint is my favorite). It's a compact size so it fits on just about any surface and there is no heat to the mist. This is a much better alternative to air fresheners.
I cannot even play it. The bug has been reported by many users since game was released, but EA doesn't care at all. Total waste of money.
Here's the problem - most folk with basic to mid-level computer savvy make the leap up to Windows 7 or Office 2010 thinking, 'yeah i knew all i need to know with xp and Office 2003 so these upgrades will be a cinch.' For those of you who can agree with such a sentiment, unless you have the latest MSCE certification you'd be well advised to spend an hour or several going through the basics of this 'Professor Teaches' series for Win7/Office 2010 and learn some of the basics from the get go. After all, proper fundamentals leads to a lifetime of proper execution no? I really enjoyed going through the Win7 features and learning the intricacies of the new features that will make your overall computing skills so much more productive (more robust file searching systems and configuration features in particular). If this type of program sounds boring to you I can assure you that its much more effective than going through books and the software itself is well designed, intuitive and packed with tutorials, well-written explanation and plenty of videos. Definitely give this one a chance if you'd like to make the most of your new OS and software.
