  • Grace Mynatt - love story, bitter rivalry

A historical novel set in a small NC mountain town. Has all the elements, love story, bitter rivalry, mountain lore in an authentic setting.

  • Damian Green - Fun but complicated.

I used to play Magic 20 years ago and wanted to introduce it again to my kids. One really likes it, the other not as much, but I think it is a pretty nice artistic and fun strategic game to play. Unfortunately there is a learning curve to this, you really have to pay attention as you read the instructions and there are a lot of rules on individual cards that are not very well explained and leave a lot of room for interpretation that can lead to arguments... If only this game had better rules defined for these weird circumstances searchable on line, then I'd give it 5 stars, but there are definitely a lot of awkward situations that come up as part of this game...

  • Amazon Customer - Great resource for the SAT II Biology exam

As a professional Biology tutor who has tutored over 20 students for the SAT II Biology exam, I highly recommend this book. Yes, it can be dense. Yes, the questions are difficult. However, the book has good explanations for the practice tests in the back of the book. I find the questions to be challenging but fair, and more accurate than the other options available. More importantly, the information presented in the book is more accurate than any of the other books that I have worked with (including Barron's and Princeton Review). There are a couple errors here and there that I have found (for example, one diagram shows human cells as tetraploid after DNA replication which is just wrong), but I have found many more mistakes in other books.

  • M Haley - Disappointed

I purchased a Waterpik Ultra in November of 2007. In as little as two months of use the handle is leaking and does not allow for continued use. I have been unable to contact their Customer Service department through their website or by phone. Apparently there is no Customer service. Another American company that has failed to provide a product that will last more than 2 weeks. I have reviewed many customer complaints on this product and I find that my leaking problem seems to be the main complaint from everyone. Oh, did I mention that they sell extra handles for $5.50? And the stock seems to be out at this moment. I would not recommend this product or any product from this company this.
